About Marcela Guevara & Stefano Giudice (BsAs / Ita)

Marcela Guevara belongs to the younger generation of Tango dancers. She was born in Argentina and began to dance the Tango in 1995 with the well-known teacher Perdo Monteleone, who taught her beautiful technique and interpretation. In 1997 she began her career as a teacher and performer in Buenos Aires where she performed in the top milongas and is featured in the Tango shows “Milonga” and “Sexi Tango”.

Stefano Giudice is also a Tanguero of the younger generation. He was born in Italy and began to dance Argentine Tango in 1996. He studied with great teachers including Gustavo Naveira and Osvaldo Zotto. In 2000, he began his professional career as a ballet dancer and teacher and performs as the first dancer at the Festival of Vignale danza in the show “Confines”.

They started working together in May 2002, in Astor Piazzolla's show Maria de Buenos Aires, in Taipei (Taiwan). They organize the annual Torino Tango Festival, an event that has become one of the most important Tango events in Europe and operate a school for tango in Torino.
They belong to several prestigious dance companies including....
- “Tango Vivo”: directed by Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega,
- “Storie di Tango”: the show is a mix of dance and poetry, performed in the theatres all around Italy since October 2005, - “Tango”: the new show of the Roberto Herrera Dance Company, with the Ensemble Hyperion Orchestra, in theatres since February 2007. - “Tango a Pugliese”: celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the famous Maestro, the show was a mix of remembrances of Pugliese’s life and dance performances of world famous dancers, music played by the Color Tango Orchestra. - “Buenos Aires Hora Cero”: mix of music, acting and dancing debuted in Turin in April 2006, - “Tango Apasionado” is their most recent creation, which debuted in April 2007.
