Dancers of the so-called ³Tango Salon,² they show this dance the way it is danced in its original ambience: the milongas of Buenos Aires. They teach regular classes at Salon Canning, one of the most prestigious dance halls in Buenos Aires. They started working as a couple 5 years ago and soon became one of the most distinguished couples of Tango Salon (also known as the close embrace style), and are recognized for their elegance, musicality and creativity. In 2008 and 2009 they toured more than 20 cities including New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago and Portland, where they received the highest evaluations for their instruction at the October Portland Festival. Besides teaching and performing, Gustavo Benzecry Saba has written two tango-related books, the Tango Danza Glossary - Key Tango Argentino Dance Terms, 2004, a dictionary containing more than 300 terms; and Embracing Tango - Techniques and Metaphors between Tango and Life, 2006. It is the first written guide to the milonga codes, the rules of behavior and interaction of people in the context of the milonga.
