I've started a little project called gnome-color-manager. It's designed to be a central place to install ICC profiles, assign ICC profiles to devices, and manage all colour workflow in the GNOME desktop environment. It'll also allow you to calibrate using a one button click mechanism sometime in the distant future.
Anyway, I'm in need of a GPLv2 licensed project icon. At the moment I'm using video-display[1], which kinda sucks in lots of ways. Ideally it would be a very colourful icon with some notion of colorspaces, brightness, contrast and that sort of thing. I'm also keen on not having just a monitor with some detail, as gnome-color-manager has to calibrate input devices like scanners and output devices like printers to be even slightly useful. Anyway, ideas and suggestions for icons please. I'll need 16x16, 22x22, 32x32, 48x48 and scalable versions. A preview version of gnome-color-manager will be licensed under GPLv2 and will be released in a couple of weeks time. Thanks, Richard.
