Does anyone know if there are any recordings of very early Guardia Vieja tango groups that have been cleaned up and/or modernized? Most of the available CDs and recordings still sound very old and scratchy at best. I realize that they can only work with what was originally recorded, often with primitive equipment, but has anyone heard of any successful attempts to improve the sound quality, dynamics, etc. Any info would be much appreciated.
