I agree with Lois Donnay about the not adequateness of  "tango nuevo music" for 
beginners. 
One of the main consequences is that those start to "disconnect" the pulse of 
the rhythm from the walking that, according to me, is crucial for tango.
An other consequence is that people perform static (even elegant) figures, 
stopping the "natural" flow in the ronda.  Then I have noticed this dancing 
approach translated  in the more traditional tango tanda.
Probably it  would be better to have, for the "tango nuevo" dancers, some 
specialistic milongas  where "tango nuevo" is the major part of the milonga 
music.  As we have in  Rome.
