As a relative newcomer to tango (2.5 years), I only discovered the tango-l
archives last year. However, I was amazed by the scope and depth of the
commentary I found there and return to it from time to time. It seems to me
that there was much more excitement about tango and its practice (in North
America) then than today. Either that or all that information has been absorbed
by the tango community and no longer needs to be discussed. The archives go
back several years (not sure how far back), but tango has evolved here since
then—at least I would assume so.
