Sayang anda tidak menuliskan urutan perintah yg nda berikan saat
compile kernel, jadi saya tidak tahu apakah sebelum eksekusi "make"
anda telah meng-konfigurasi-kannya ato belum.
Kalo yang biasa saya lakukan utk kernel 2.6.x adalah perintah berikut:
make mrproper && make menuconfig &&
make && make modules_install &&
cp arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.x &&
cp System.map /boot/System.map-2.6.x
Lalu edit bootloader, reinstall bootloader, reboot.
