In a spirit of whining for easy-to-fix bugs, I would also point to my recent
submission at :
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-690
It has fix included, and I believe it is as small and straightforward as it
gets.
Until Jesse finishes bigger refactorings for better intergation of
DatePicker with Ajax stuff (which I assume will need better examination by
commiters), this one can be made in no time, and will allow people to use
date *and time* picking:
<input jwcid="@DatePicker" value="ognl:fooTime"
translator="translator:date,pattern=dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm"/>
It's so obviously simple and short fix that I have to cry for it. ;)
Cheers,
Vjeran

I was going to write yesterday in the bug that I have been looking at this
issue, and it will be fixed by the end of the week. I've had it on my
desktop for a while. Decided that it can wait for a while.
It just has a few related tricks that need to be addressed as well.
All the best,
