All your properties could be initialized in such a way.
I can't implement pageBeginRender in my subcomponent because it would be
called twice. So I have to create my own interface. This improvement is
to avoid doing precisely that.
(also, I have my doubts about the performance of a 4000 element loop
several times on each request).
