The contrib library seems to be very obsolete (Tree, FormConditional, etc.).

This depends on how 4.1 will support AJAX as a core service. (Some components in tacos are "copy-pasted" from the framework/contrib library (like Form, Palette) which may make future synchronization of the development very difficult!)
