Right. The chair would be "VP of Apache Tapestry". Not so much that
they 'must become'; the chair is an officer position. Need to make
that clear as there have been times when people mistakenly thought
there could be one person as a chair and one as a VP when writing
their proposals.

It's only recently that being an officer has had any kind of impact on
me; we recently had to note down the officer's addresses for the tax
return.

Some other important bits:

* The chair is the only one responsible to the board (and through them
to the members) for the project.

* The board choose the chair. Your proposal recommends a chair, but
the board appoints.

* It means another mailing list, you'll have to listen to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Medium level traffic. Probably more in terms of effort than sending in
the report, but good educational stuff.
