I can't find any pdf docs in the 2.0.1 or 2.0.2a distribution. I'm sure I'm just blind in some way. Recursive ls and recursive greps on the extracted tapestry yield no results. I thought I might have to build them but the build.xml doesn't seem to have a target for that... I assume the source docs are docbook and you are using a DSSSL stylesheet? Do I need to go to the cvs repository?
BTW, my group is switching from struts to tapestry. Yay! The tapestry documentation is one of the (many) reasons.
