Fair enough Joe, Ethereal may be a powerful tool, but I don't feel
one can seriously think about building and easily manipulating
non-regression functional test scripts thanks to a network protocol
analyzer.

There is definitely a need for an easy way to run such tests, and
whatever their flaws, proxies seems to be the best way to record and
subsequently validate business cases in Web applications.

Solex offers such an easy way to record, enhance and play back
your scripts, all that nicely integrated in Eclipse, which is
definitely a plus.

Olivier.
