I've looked into this, and can't find anything. I did two series of tests using the Tapestry Workbench.
The first was off the current build in the Dev-2-2 branch, using Jetty 4.0.4 standalone. I used IE 5.5 with cookies disabled and everything worked fine (session id properly encoded into all URLs, no problems with losing any server-side state). I repeated the test using the 2.0.5 build, deployed within JBoss 3.0.0. Again, results were fine. I believe Tapestry is doing the right thing. One of the advantages of Tapestry is that all URL building is done in one place (the Gesture class) and I can see that it is properly encoded URLs there. Please provide all details about your enviroment ... JDK, servlet container, configuration, etc. I suspect it is a configuration issue in your container; there may be special options required to enable cookies for session id. Let's find out. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://tapestry.sf.net ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Tapestry-developer mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tapestry-developer
