Summary: Should validate names & ids in spec
Initial Comment:
Tapestry should validate that page names, parameter
names, asset names, and component ids are valid.
Page names should start with a letter, and may contain
letters, numbers, '.', '$', '-', '_'.
Parameter names should be limited to normal Java
identifiers.
Note that a future release of
Component ids are like parameter names, but also allow
the dash character ('-').
Currently (through release 2.1) no validation of any kind
occurs.
Tapestry should maintain JDK 1.2 source compatibility.
It should make use of an external regexp library, rather
than the JDK 1.4 regexp library.
Documentation should be updated to identify the allowed
formats.
