Two suggestions:

First:

Maybe Tapestry's development should take a short tangential trip into the
world of Struts.

If there were support in Tapestry to integrate with existing Struts apps,
all those Struts developers out there
who look at Tapestry and say "Gee, this is cool but I can't justify its use"
would have reason to
do more than just download it and look at it.

I personally have never used Struts, I've only gone as far as reading the
docs. So, I'm not the one to
drive such an initiative.

Anyone out there using Struts? Maybe you can give some insight.

Second:

More thought and discussion should be done in the area of using Tapestry to
build RAD tools. Might be just an acedemic discussion at first, but that
discussion might lead to a reference RAD tool that would spark somebody.
Payoff for this kind of effort might be longer
term than my first suggestion, but I think its a valid course to explore.
