Thanks Geoff. While I like the example, it (as you say) doesn't work in Netscape (or Opera). I've trailed off down this path before, attempting to find non-framed, cross-browser, scrolling solutions and haven't discovered anything that does the job as reliably as frames. Maybe there's a cross-browser solution that works; if so, I have yet to find it. In the meantime, given the broad support and ease of implementation frames normally enjoy, I'd prefer to use them. Tapestry offers a Frame component, but so far I'm not getting how to set a target frame for a Tapestry page. Mental block?
