Use either the Any or GenericLink components to render a hyperlink, i.e. <a jwcid="link"><span jwcid="insertLinkURL">http://etc.</span></link>
link is GenericLink, href is the URL. insertLink is Insert, value is URL. Don't limit yourself to thinking in JSP terms. You said "I want a link", so use a component that generates a link! ----- Original Message ----- From: "saqib rasul" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, September 20, 2002 6:05 AM Subject: [Tapestry-developer] Inserting URL's as Hotspots > Hi all, > > I understand the Insert compoenent, inserts text which > is a String object onto the webpage... > > On my webpage, i have a form where people can enter > text which is later shown to them.
