Hello all,

This weekend I've managed to finish some loose ends in the
Tapestry version of Java Petshop.
I think is ready for a first release.
It can be downloaded from:
http://pwp.netcabo.pt/lneves/projects/TapestryPetshop-0.1.zip

And you can see it online (briefly) at:
http://213.22.96.201:8080/petshop/estore

I think of this as a learning experience and as such there is still
many things to do :

- Replace the "System.out.println()" with log4j, and
generally improve logging.

-Improve the localization. Currently only database content
is localized, I will have to ask some designer's friends of mine
for assistance with this, some of the graphics must be done
on the target languages.

- Apparently Tapestry already has a Table/Paging component
in CVS, I will integrate it in Petshop. This will eliminate
redundant code

- Make use of some kind of caching System to lighten the DB
load, JCS seems very promising I will look into it.

- Try to at least make some kind of documentation in the
form of comments/javadocs.

- Make this work with Mckoi DB and JBoss.

I would appreciate any comments/suggestions/feedback you guys may have.
I'm sure there are lots of things that could be improved upon.

Best regards,

Luis Neves
