I can only say, please provide bug reports for any 
problems you get, and I'll assign them to Malcom (the 
user who contributed DatePicker).

I try to keep the client-side aspect of Tapestry as 
simple and compatible as possible.  I'm not very good at 
JavaScript personally, so if you have expertise in this 
area, it would be a great way to contribute back to the 
project.
