Geoff,The webapp includes a jar, javax.servlet.jar, that defines classes that are already defined. Tomcat already has an definition of all the javax.servlet.* classes in it's global lib, so it's warning you that it's not loading yours. You can remove the jar or ignore it, it won't make any difference to your running app.
thanks for the info !
Now I'm allmost on track.
Workbench compiles ok but when I start Tomcat 4 the following error
occours:
ebappClassLoader: validateJarFile(C:
\eclipse\workspace\Workbench\WEB-INF\lib\javax.servlet.jar) - jar not
loaded. See Servlet Spec 2.3, section 9.7.2. Offending class:
javax/servlet/Servlet.class
18297 [main] INFO http11.Http11Protocol - Starting Coyote HTTP/1.1 on port
8080
Any ideas ?
