Hi Sanjeev,

Yes, Tapestry lays out the page files and their resources in a class heirachy. This is a quite different from the usual web site free for all (and may be anyoing), but is good in terms of keeping all the logical resources together.

Pages can have their own *.java, *.page, *.html, *.script, *.properties files so keeping these in a hierachial classs directory makes it easier to manage.

You can still organise your static HTML and JSP files in the usual way.

Hello All,
   I am new to Tapestry and I have a question about
Directory structure while developing/deploying
WebApplication using  Tapestry. Please Help.

I was looking at the examples ( say hello ).
All the files related to this examples say
.application, .page, .html and .java files are stored
under WEB-INF/classe/<package> directory.
what I wanted to know is, Is this a directory
structure we should maintain throught out application
or ist here any way to organise directory /files on
our own. I want to structure something like shown
below

|-docroot
| |-images -- All images file
| |-invoice- htmls will go here+.application, +.page
| |-reports--All html,*.page
| |-InvDocs-- htmls ........so on
|-WEB-INF
    |-classes - <package>-*.class
    |-lib

Please help.
