Tapestry has a complete scripting language just for generating dynamic 
JavaScript.  Documentation is lagging, alas.

See the Palette and the various input field validators for examples on how it 
is used.

Summary:  You pass in pretty much a map of named objects.  You can extract 
properties from those objects and combine them to form new objects ... often, 
names of functions and such.

You can then build your event handlers in one block, and any page-level 
initialization in another.

You have access to basic loops and conditionals in the script.
