Hello,

I am just starting out with Tapestry and was wondering if there was a way to
specify the full xhtml 1.0 DTD as specified by W3C using a Shell component
while still keeping the page "legal". The closest thing I could come up
with is pasted below but it is not exactly "legal" xhtml:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd";>

<html>
  <head>
    <title>My Page Title</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/xhtml-1.0.css" />
  <head>

  <span jwcid="$content$">
  <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"

"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd";>
  <span jwcid="shell" title="My Page Title" DTD="">
  <body>

Am I missing something simple or is this just not possible yet with the
Shell component?

Thanks,
Adam
