Hi all,
Does anybody have any experience in whether Google can index a
Tapestry page correctly? I have a webapp that I would like the
product pages to be indexed, although I'm worried that the spider
will be confused by the unusal URL convention. Any thoughts?
That previously being said about Google's ability to crawl ugly (yes,
that is the opposite of friendly! :) URLs, I strongly recommend that
folks not accept ugly URLs from their application.
URLs are part of your user interface. Persistent URLs are important
in many applications. Cool URIs Don't Change <http://www.w3.org/

Tapestry can be made to have URL's like http://www.lucenebook.com/toc
for example.
