You should check your WEB-INF/lib directory if there not appears
tapestry-4.0-beta-??.jar more than once. Regards Radim Valdemaras Repšys wrote:
hi everyone, just started learning tapestry and found a problem related to helloworld example. When running a helloworld.war in tomcat i get such an exception: javax.servlet.ServletException: Unable to initialize application servlet: Error: Module tapestry is duplicated! Definition in jar:file:/D:/java/Tomcat%205.5/webapps/helloworld/WEB-INF/lib/tapestry-4.0-beta-11.jar!/META-INF/hivemodule.xml has been ignored in favor of existing definition from jar:file:/D:/java/Tomcat%205.5/webapps/helloworld/WEB-INF/lib/tapestry-4.0-beta-10.jar!/META-INF/hivemodule.xml. This is because there are two tapestry jars (tapestry-4.0-beta-11.jar and tapestry-4.0-beta-10.jar) in the war and also in the examples/tapestry-libraries/lib/web/ directory. The war was made with a build.xml provided with the examples. I just wonder is it something wrong i made or it's a bug in the examples, what do you think?
