there is a spring prefix, see http://jakarta.apache.org/hivemind/hivemind/ObjectProviders.html bottom of the page
and this regarding bean factory http://jakarta.apache.org/hivemind/hivemind-lib/apidocs/org/apache/hivemind/lib/BeanFactory.html which I presume can be utilised to provide Spring beans?
