I had given up waiting for Spindle for Tap 4 and jumped into converting,
then working with my Tap 4 apps Spindle free.
Spindle is definitely nice to have and time saver, you end up doing
more compiles without it I imagine, especially when you
are used to Tap 3 - but in the end I am surviving quite well without
it. In some ways it is forcing me to really think
about some of the things I am doing instead of having it automatically
there.
I say just jump into Tap 4 without spindle for now, I am guessing it
shouldn't be too long before Spindle for Tap 4 arrives. Not having it
is not going to restrict you working with Tap 4 significantly.
