I understand that the top priority is to get Tapestry 4.0 out, even without complete portlet support. However, I hope that the couple of blocking portlet issues will be looked at shortly after. I did contribute some patches and I'm willing to help on other issues if needed, like the upload one.
Here is a list of the portlet issues I encountered: TAPESTRY-804: Client-persisted properties are not persisted in portlet links, nor in render parameters TAPESTRY-788: DatePicker doesn't work in a portlet. Initialization script is run before window finishes loading. TAPESTRY-525: Link components should not render during rewind in portlet mode TAPESTRY-635: Upload component failing in Tapestry 4.0 Portlets TAPESTRY-802: All Tapestry URLs should be encoded using RequestCycle.encodeURL(), except for portlets URLs Thanks again to the team for their impressive work.
