Hugo is developing an IntelliJ plugin for Tapestry that will use the guts of Spindle. If anyone is interested in how we are extracating Spindle from Eclipse our discussions are taking place on the Spindle-developer list.
On that list I'm also posting a long winded series of messages explaining why Spindle 4T4 is taking so long. Many are not deeply familliar with how Tapestry works internally so the first 3 message (and more to follow) are introductory in nature (quirks of the Tapestry implementation that impact Spindle). Hopefully soon a good discussion on how to work around some of these issues will occur 'cuz, frankly, I'm stuck.
