Nope, not using Hivemind...yet.  We most definitely will when we go to
Tapestry 4 as I believe, in my brief review of it, that we'll be able to
get a great deal of leverage from ASO's tied in using Hivemind.  Caching
some rather large but semi-immutable data constructs has proven valuable
for session scope needs.  I really enjoyed listening to Bruce Tate's
presentation on Spring a no-fluff or three ago, so I'm stoked about the
whole paradigm.

Couldn't tell if it was mentioned or relevant, but you should also make
sure
you're using hivemind 1.1.1. It has a number of very important perf
improvements that may be related.
