I had to use
    <component id="body" type="Body">
        <binding name="background" value="asset:backgroundRelativePath"/>
    </component>

and then define an asset but it did work, thanks again.

I've a last question on this subject : in the page I was given, they are a
lot of row like this :
<td background="http://realUrl"; height="35" width="20">&nbsp;</td>

The goal of these lines are to defined some kind of borders around the
content page.

I don't manage to have these backgrounds' url deal through tapestry, even if
I tried quite a lot... Do you have a solution?
