Hey all
Do you have any pointers on how we can reduce the startup time for our
Tapestry 4 webapp/pages? We're running it along with
Hibernate and Spring and have the Tomcat caching turned off, but still
get a ridiculously long webapp startup time (approximately 5 secs).
This isn't the only issue, certain pages where intense db persistence
takes place will even take longer to load (more than 5 secs usually).
It's of course not all because of Tapestry, but since i'm doing the
Tapestry development in our project at the moment I'd like to at least
try to optimize the web tier as much as possible. Any general
suggestions which might be helpful?
