This framework looks wonderful. It does appear to tie your code into dependancy on framework classes. It also starts by designing the database. I think it would be preferabe to tie in with the JSR220-ORM Project so that one can start with an object tree and wire that up to create the database, but I appreciate that Torque is mature. My designs usually start with modelling in UML, then creating class skeletons.
