Ah, yes, I had this in mind - but, I figured that while people were brainstorming, I should get these things "down on paper" while I still remembered. Speaking for myself, anyway, I have a mind like a steel trap - stuff goes in, comes out mangled... so I was mainly mentioning these things for the record.
That, and I'm guessing that people will want TarProxy to ship with some number of base modules... so while these features aren't part of TarProxy (the executable), some of them might be part of TarProxy (the package).
