TarProxy v0.29 is now available.
Some of the goodies:
- ADDED DNSBL PLUGIN TO QUERY DNS-BASED BLACKLISTS.
- Implemented SMTP session timeslicing to allow tarpitted
connections to share threads.
- Implemented a "penalty box" for connections - introduces
one-time or recurring delays at each SMTP state change,
independent of throttle settings.
- Added SimpleTrigger plugin to provide basic throttling
functionality.
- Modified logging to log to file (in "TARPROXY_HOME/log"
directory).

Note that using the DNSBL plugin as configured in the example
configuration file will NOT refuse any email at all; the blacklisted
mailers are simply throttled back. DNS Blacklists with no false
positive penalty!
