I'm experimenting with tarproxy to deter some persistent spammers. Thank you Marty for making it available!
I have it installed on Win2k but I'm seeing the following message when I run it, regardless of the value of listener address in the config file.
[main] INFO com.martiansoftware.tarproxy.TarProxy - Starting TarProxy.
[Thread-0] ERROR com.martiansoftware.tarproxy.TarProxyListener - java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind
I've tried 127.0.0.1 as the IP address, as well as various virtual IP's running on this box.
I get no response from port 25 on the address before or after running tarproxy, so I'm fairly sure there is nothing running on that port.
Any pointers? Thanks!
