I've changed the permission scheme from asyncweb to incubator.
The incubator permission scheme is role based, and both matthieu and
mryan3 are in the tashi-developers group which I think is unnecessary
(everyone can be individually added to the committers role) but
whatever.
This is still formation time so give this a try...

Thanks for doing this (I can see that I am part of tashi-developers
now), but it appears that something else must be missing. I'm still
getting:
"Assignee: The default assignee does NOT have ASSIGNABLE permission
OR Unassigned issues are turned off."
Can I be set as the default assignee and be set as assignable or
perhaps be given whatever permission bits have to be set so I can do
this myself (assuming I am not missing some documentation about how
to do this)? Thanks again for taking the time to look at this.

I suppose I should have thought of that. There are many Michael

My login is "mryan3".
Perfect, I've just created the group, gave it the relevant role and
added you to it. Let me know if this works as expected.
Cheers,
Matthieu
Thanks for the help.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong on JIRA or if I didn't
find/read
the right doc, but I believe I need to be added to "tashi-
developers" in
order to use JIRA. I got the same error Daniel Mercer mentioned a
while
back:
"Assignee: The default assignee does NOT have ASSIGNABLE permission

Unassigned issues are turned off."
Is this something I can fix myself (and I stupidly missed the
instructions), something I need to ask my mentors for, or something
I should
ask on gene...@?
I was trying to create a list of features that I'm thinking about/
working
on for Tashi as JIRA issues in order to try to collect feedback
from others.
Sorry in advance if I missed something obvious.
You didn't but I'd just need to know your Jira login to add you to the
group. There are a few Michael Ryan there :)
Thanks,
Matthieu
