Hi Thor, 2008/7/31 Thor S. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Not sure I completely understand why summing hourly fee makes no sense...
What I meant was that summing the hourly fee itself does not make sense. Suppose you have these tasks: + Customer XYZ ++ Project 1: hourly fee = 150 ++ Project 2: hourly fee = 100 Now what is the hourly fee of the task 'Customer XYZ'? Surely it is not 150+100. You could argue it should be the average of the hourly fees of Project 1 and 2, but what if the time spent on Project 1 is much larger or smaller than on Project 2? > ProjectA sums up to 5 hours, which sums up to 5*200=1000 Money units.. > projectA does not have a payout of the pot before it's complete. > So summing the hourly fees makes sense to me. What you call 'hourly fees' here is called 'revenue' and 'total revenue' in Task Coach. > Anyway, if the text fields are designed to not be shown where I had a red > circle, I would propose to symbolically separate "for this task" and "for > this task including subtask" . a thin line between those to might do it, > they are to close at the moment in my opinion.
