That's a bug then, but not a critical one since if the user creates a
note nothing bad happens. I'd like to have the same setting for effort
since I expect a fair number of users not to use it. If they can turn
of the effort feature, the TC UI will be a lot simpler for them.

OK, but after that we should focus on bugs I think. I'd like to
release 0.70.4 soon. When we release 0.71.0 I think we should support
the 0.70 release series for a while as well since there are so many
changes in 0.71.
