...doesn't seem to be possible. Apple website says Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2 is the minimum version you need for the iPhone SDK to run. So, apparently I need to upgrade from 10.4 to 10.5. But, will apps packaged on Leopard work on Tiger? Sigh.
