The latest security update for Fedora 11 bumped up wxGTK to 2.8.10 without upgrading wxPython, which was already late... I don't expect this to improve the situation regarding the random unit tests crash. It seems that we're not the only ones to have stumbled upon this, I've made a followup to Fedora's bugzilla here:
