hi robin the jam is based on the scale which u hear while the jam
begins... typically basuda who is a baul knows his old time songs and
rhythms... so i hear it and play along.  thats how it works as of now.
but i guess some of these songs are quite popular amongst the baul
circuits... like in bluegrass, there are a few similar licks and
tricks that we use from time to time. so its not much different from
how bluegrass works.
