I've noticed a marked difference from my last taterbug which was on
the thinner side. In fact it warp/molded to my thumbprint, so it is
dished out a bit.
The new one is one of the extra heavy's, i like the tone and feel and
doesn't seeml like it
will dish out or warp.
Am sitting here playing various measures with the 'Taterbug' then with
a BlueChip 55, i definitely hear a tonal difference but know what you
would call it.
Taterbug woodier tones? BlueChip is bit louder and a little more on
the treble side.
Probably the difference in materials used.
Bottom line I like it, like 'em both.
