Can anyone comment on the TBS ability to take a good beating?

I bought the blue chip believing the marketing that you'll never have
to shape the pick because it won't wear.

I've had the pick less than a year and am already on the third side of
the triangle as the other two have become worn down enough that the
pick doesn't strike the strings flat anymore and causes the pick to
move when I am playing. Don't know how to shape it so I guess I'll be
buying a new one unless anyone knows how to shape it without damaging
it.

Now seeing as I am fairly weak individual I know I can't be the only
one wearing this thing out.

Maybe I should give the tater a try. How much are those things anyways?
