The myGrid team and the Wf4Ever project are proud to present version 2.1.5 of the Taverna PROV plugin.
This update includes support for exporting a whole workflow run as a single data bundle (a ZIP file), which can subsequently be shared using sites like myExperiment and Dropbox. This bundle includes a provenance trace of the workflow run in W3C PROV-O format, in addition to inputs, outputs and intermediate values, and a copy of the workflow definition at execution time. The data bundle is effectively a Research Object. In our ongoing development of Taverna 3, you can load data bundles to explore a workflow run, e.g. sent by email from a colleague. In ongoing developments of myExperiment, data bundles can be uploaded to share and browse the results of a workflow run. Note that you need Java 1.7 to use Taverna-PROV - see http://java.com/ For installation instructions of Taverna-PROV and details of the Databundle and the provenance format, see: https://github.com/wf4ever/taverna-prov -- Stian Soiland-Reyes, myGrid team School of Computer Science The University of Manchester http://soiland-reyes.com/stian/work/ http://orcid.org/0000-0001-9842-9718 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shape the Mobile Experience: Free Subscription Software experts and developers: Be at the forefront of tech innovation.
