Following our recent Github move of Taverna's repository, I have documented how to set up Jenkins jobs per repository, and how to do a release of a module directly from Jenkins.
http://dev.mygrid.org.uk/wiki/display/developer/Recommended+Jenkins+job If one follows this, snapshot builds will be automatically deployed to the new Artifactory Maven repository, and releases to the stable repository. For details on doing a (one-click) release of a module from within Jenkins, see the subsection: http://dev.mygrid.org.uk/wiki/display/developer/Recommended+Jenkins+job#RecommendedJenkinsjob-Buildingarelease The next task is to create the Jenkins jobs per repository in https://github.com/taverna/ - I have started small: http://build.mygrid.org.uk/ci/view/Taverna%20activities/ (and will use this to deploy the updated taverna-beanshell-activity for fixing T3-1153 - then making 2.5.1 command line tool) Feel free to join in if you have Jenkins access - but follow the instructions. :) -- Stian Soiland-Reyes, myGrid team School of Computer Science The University of Manchester http://soiland-reyes.com/stian/work/ http://orcid.org/0000-0001-9842-9718 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Is your legacy SCM system holding you back?
