I'm not sure a separate popup would work as you may be loading services from several providers, getting the BioMart query information, opening a workflow (or several) and running a workflow. You could end up with a confusing number of popups. I think that a small console would be better. Stian already did something for loading service descriptions. It would be good if this could be moved out of the service panel and made more generally applicable. My immediate thought would be to have a console either as a sibling tab to the workflow explorer and details, or as a small panel below those. What do others users think? It will not make it into 2.1 as that is due mid December. But I'll put it into Jira for 2.2. It would help a lot if you could get buy-in from other users. We'll need to think about how such a notification system would work in other scenarios e.g. servers and portals. > cheers, > Paul.
