Hi, there, Dear Taverna Users (I'm one, too), I was puzzled by lacking a BEAST webservice for quitesome time so that I built one to let bio-informatics researcher like me have a little easier life in Phylogenetics and Phylogeographics studies. I've used it with Taverna and it's working to my expectations.
The webservice is at: http://zoophy.med.yale.edu/ws_zoophy/service1.asmx Right now, only runBEAST interface is working as the runBEAST_FASTA is too much customization involved. runBEAST needs only two input parameters: the email, and the XML input file for BEAST in string format. Try it out and let us know how it works. We'll help as much as we can. It's a academic service free of charge. Please don't load too large commercial computations onto it. It's a beta site on a dual-quad core server. If we have good usage feedback, we may be able to obtain funding to upgrade. Thank you. C.-J.
