We have an interesting challenge. We want to use the VMware vSphere web
service API. The API has a wsdl and dozens of operations that do
everything from login to deploy virtual guests to monitor performance.
(VMware is a cloud software vendor that has a strong software offering for
Infrastructure as a Service.)
It appears that after the initial vSphere web service login() operation, a
cookie is established/required for subsequent web service invocations. The
cookie has the authorization information. Subsequent web service calls
from Taverna don't appear to include the cookie as part of the http
request. Assuming my analysis is correct, is there any way for Taverna to
pass the cookie on subsequent web service invocations? Can you help point
me at the correct documentation. Has anyone used the VMware SDK from
Taverna?
Thank you.
